Close Brothers Commercial Finance has announced the appointment of Chris Guilfoyle, as Vendor Manager, Asset Finance, across Northern Ireland and the Republic.
Chris brings with him over 15 years’ experience in the machinery industry. His career includes auditing, valuation and sales management roles at Caterpillar, Komatsu, Kleeman and RBS Lombard, Ireland.
In his new role he will be responsible for working alongside the Close Brothers Commercial Finance sales teams to assess the value of customer assets and build bespoke finance packages for local SMEs. Chris will further support the many vendor partnerships that the business has developed throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic.
Chris said: “I’m thrilled to join the Close Brothers team. It’s fantastic to work within an organisation that still believes in the strength of customer relationships. We can make quick business decisions for our customers when they need them, which is invaluable for local firms in need of financial support.”
Head of Sales for Asset Finance, Adrian Madden, said: “Demand for finance appears to be on the rise and so we are pleased to welcome Chris on board to help with the increasing number of SMEs that are coming to us for funding, as well as managing important relationships with dealers and manufacturers. The recent appointment further establishes Close Brothers’ presence in Ireland. In addition to office locations in Dublin and Belfast, the organisation opened new premises in Galway and Cork towards the end of 2013.
